Description
The City of Pittsburgh is soliciting proposals from qualified individuals and firms for open-ended contracts for various Building Department Training Solutions. This includes technical training such as building code and systems-related courses with an emphasis on hands-on, experiential learning, and non-technical training covering interpersonal skills like customer service, coaching, and team dynamics. Providers must be accredited trainers, and at least 50% of the building code training must be from International Code Council (ICC) preferred providers. The Department of Permits, Licenses, and Inspections (PLI) has approximately 120 employees who will benefit from this training to ensure compliance with building codes and enhance employee satisfaction and customer experience.
