Description
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) - Richmond is seeking information on potential sources capable of manufacturing a Transmitter Group, Humidity-Temperature (NSN: 6660-016799516, Part Number: 8612-13). The estimated requirement is for 103 units. This is a sources sought notice to gauge market capacity and determine the procurement method, which may include a small business set-aside or full and open competition. Potential sources should be capable of new manufacture, including component parts, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping. Additionally, capabilities in supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting production requirements, long-lead time parts procurement, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortage issues, and shipping serviceable assets are desirable. The government will evaluate responses based on the capacity to provide services consistent in scope and scale, secure necessary resources, implement a successful project management plan, and perform under a performance-based service acquisition contract.
