Description
The University of Connecticut is seeking a vendor to supply and deliver bulk quantities of red-dyed, ultra-low-sulfur, non-biodiesel off-road diesel fuel for university generators. Deliveries will serve the Central Utility Plant, Supplemental Utility Plant, and additional storage tanks as required at the Storrs campus. Bidders must have the capacity, equipment, personnel, fuel availability, and logistical capability to support sustained, high-volume deliveries when requested. The contract is planned to begin February 1, 2027, for two years, with three one-year extension options. Bidders must submit a cost proposal using the provided form, offering a fixed price differential for the specified product. The University will award to the responsible bidder with the lowest fixed price differential, subject to review of technical qualifications and other stated criteria.
