Description
Pueblo Rural School District 70 seeks proposals for leased dark fiber, leased lit fiber, or both to provide WAN transport between its network hub sites and four endpoint locations. Proposals must cover all listed locations; partial bids will not be considered. Lit-fiber service must provide fully managed, symmetrical bandwidth of at least 10 Gbps, while the district encourages solutions that can scale to 10 Gbps. Dark-fiber proposals must include two strands per connection and maintenance; maintenance may be subcontracted, but the respondent remains responsible for managing the subcontract and meeting the service-level agreement. Alternative network designs may be proposed, and any new construction must be priced separately. Services must terminate at the designated building demarcation point, and vendors must demonstrate that service can be delivered by July 1, 2027. Proposals must include the completed pricing attachment, service-provider terms and conditions, a clear description of the service offering, and all monthly recurring, non-recurring, and special-construction costs. Contracted-service proposals are requested to include 60-month pricing; month-to-month offers are also considered, and the district may extend an agreement for two additional 12-month terms. The district requires SPI discount billing and will evaluate cost, technical capability, prior experience, transition continuity, and proposal responsiveness.
