Description
The National Park Service (NPS), Yosemite National Park (YOSE) requires road striping services. This project involves the application of waterborne traffic paint on various roads within the park, including the stretch from the Crane Flat intersection to the park boundary in Hodgdon Meadows, Chilnualna Falls Road to the park boundary in Wawona, as well as Hodgdon Meadow Road and Chilnualna Falls Road. The work will be performed during periods of low traffic, with temperature being a determining factor. Efforts will be made to minimize tracking of paint using cones, a crash cushion truck, or a pilot vehicle, and any tracking will be corrected to the satisfaction of the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Striping hours are scheduled from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, excluding weekends and holidays unless approved by Park Management. The scope includes sweeping all roadways prior to paint application and providing traffic control. This procurement is set aside exclusively for Small Business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310, with a small business size standard of $45.0 million. The estimated magnitude for this solicitation is between $100,000.00 and $500,000.00. The Government intends to award a single, firm-fixed-price contract based on a comparative evaluation of offers considering price, technical capability, and past performance. The RFQ will be available electronically on or about June 29, 2026, via SAM.gov. The estimated due date for quotes is July 20, 2026, though this may be extended. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking SAM.gov for any amendments. An organized site visit has not been scheduled, but additional information will be provided in the solicitation. Offerors must have an active SAM registration and a unique entity identifier to conduct business with the Federal Government.
