Description
The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center has a requirement for the overhaul, inspection, and possible repair of actuators and governors. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. The specific item is a Regulator, Engine Generator, NSN 2920-17-112-3075, PN 8576-957, used on the CGC Polar Star (WAGB-399). Substitute parts or part numbers are not acceptable. The overhaul process includes disassembly, inspection, condition reporting, overhaul, reassembly, calibration, testing, preservation, packaging, packing, and marking, aiming to return the governor's performance and appearance to a like-new condition. All replacement parts must be new and manufactured according to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. The contractor must be registered in SAM.gov and provide an all-or-nothing quote. Award will be made to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror.
