Description
The City of Calhoun is soliciting sealed bids for asphalt resurfacing, milling, and striping on various city streets. The work includes approximately 23,467 square yards of asphalt resurfacing and approximately 6,219 square yards of milling, with striping and stop bars reinstated as currently marked. Work must comply with 2023 Georgia Department of Transportation standard specifications, the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, and the project’s special provisions. The procurement is unit-price based. A 5% bid bond is required with the bid; the successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment bonds. The contractor must submit required bid forms, affidavits, a pricing sheet, insurance evidence, a bid bond, and a signed Davis-Bacon Act document. Work must be completed within 180 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
