Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky, through the Division of Abandoned Mine Lands, is soliciting construction services for Grant Combs Road Slide Phase II in Perry County. The work addresses four repaired slide areas and includes backfill to restore the roadway shoulder, preparation for guardrail posts, and installation of guardrails at sites 1, 2, and 3 for a total of approximately 370 linear feet. The project covers approximately 7.15 acres of road and slide areas and is expected to involve no tree disturbance. Construction will be performed under a road closure with traffic control to maintain safety. Bidders must submit the Official Bid Document and Bid Bond, if required, combined as one PDF attachment through the Commonwealth's electronic procurement system; emailed, mailed, and hand-delivered bids will not be accepted. Plans and specifications must be obtained through the designated plan room, and bidders must be registered in the Commonwealth's Vendor Self Service system before submitting a response.
