Description
The Massachusetts Department of Correction is seeking responses for Contractors to provide an off-site computer driven, high speed emergency telephone notification service. The system must have the ability to immediately start contacting designated lists/telephone numbers at a minimum rate of 3,000 per hour. The intent of this procurement is to notify the public, staff, and agencies of a particular emergency or any situation that needs to be spread quickly and accurately. The system must have the ability to call multiple numbers at one time and also notify personnel via email, text, social media (Facebook, Twitter), and cellular phones. The system must be capable of receiving, processing, and storing telephone numbers in its database. In the event of an emergency, authorized personnel will telephone or access through a web-based system the service contractor to detail the situation, specify the emergency message, and identify the numbers to be called. Upon completion of the numbers called, a status report shall be generated and available on the web-based application.
