Description
The Stockton Port District is soliciting an indefinite-quantity Job Order Contract for ongoing electrical construction, repair, rehabilitation, replacement-in-kind, and minor new-construction projects at Port facilities. The scope includes electrical services ranging from low voltage through medium and high voltage, with work priced using a Construction Task Catalog and bidder-proposed adjustment factors for normal hours, other-than-normal hours, and non-prepriced tasks. The awarded contractor will attend joint scope meetings, prepare job order proposals with pricing, schedules, subcontractor information, drawings or sketches, and other requested documentation, and complete individual lump-sum job orders within assigned completion times. A California Class C-10 electrical contractor license, TWIC compliance, an average three-year EMR below 1.0, comparable public-owner construction experience, required insurance and bonding capacity, and at least 51% electrical self-performance are required. The estimated annual program value across all awarded contractors and trades is $10,000,000, but the Port does not guarantee any minimum work volume.
