Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is conducting a Request for Information to identify sources for domestically manufactured surgical masks qualifying as Domestic End Products under DFARS 225.003. Respondents must provide surgical mask product lines, commercial part numbers, component breakdowns and domestic/non-domestic component percentages, along with relevant product and market-availability information. The attached estimate identifies four adult mask product lines: ASTM F2100-11 Level 1 masks with ties, Level 3 masks with ties, Level 3 masks with ties and shields, and Level 1 masks with ties and shields, with estimated annual quantities ranging from 85,350 to 1,319,000 units. Responses must address the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirements, including providing a manufacturer commitment letter when the respondent is not the manufacturer, maintaining potentially six months of stock for awarded part numbers, identifying business size under NAICS 339113, anticipated contract-period interest, and the ability to begin supplying estimated quantities within 60 days of award.
