Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Research Service intends to procure one complete benchtop nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer system for analyzing chemical compounds in solution. The system must support 1D and 2D NMR, including proton and carbon acquisitions, correlation spectroscopy, DOSY, pulse-field-gradient sequences, customizable pulse programs, a broadband tunable probe, standard 5 mm NMR tubes, a permanent magnet of at least 80 MHz, and proton sensitivity of approximately 200:1 signal-to-noise. It must also provide automated analysis, data collection, and queuing for at least 20 samples; built-in temperature control; and optional flow-cell capability for reaction monitoring. The requirement includes the complete software suite, licenses, interfacing cables, mobile workstation, UPS, initial consumables, delivery, on-site installation, operational training, and an included warranty/service plan with renewal options. Delivery is required within 180 days after receipt of order. The acquisition is unrestricted, and no solicitation documents or submission instructions are currently provided.
