Description
Defence Construction Canada, on behalf of the Department of National Defence, is issuing an Advance Procurement Notice—not a bid solicitation or request for proposals—for a potential National Source List for electronic security system supplier and installer services. The anticipated scope includes supplying, installing, verifying, inspecting, and testing electronic security system components and systems, along with training and maintenance support for new and existing systems. Multiple contractors may be selected to provide services on an as-and-when-required basis at locations across Canada, excluding Nunavut. The anticipated source list has a maximum estimated initial value of $3,000,000 and may increase by up to $2,000,000 twice, for a maximum potential value of $7,000,000. It is expected to run for three years, with up to two additional two-year extensions, for a potential total duration of seven years. Eligibility is anticipated to require Facility Security Clearance and Document Safeguarding Capability at the SECRET level for businesses, and SECRET clearance for personnel, issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate of Public Services and Procurement Canada. Defence Construction Canada is offering sponsorship assistance through its Industrial Security Program.
