Description
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas Resources Management, is soliciting contractors to perform exploratory work at orphan wells to evaluate existing equipment, materials, and site conditions. The work is intended to support a later, separate well-plugging contract; plugging is not included in this phase, although contractors must have specified equipment available if exploration worsens a well's condition. Work will be authorized through individual work orders, with field orders and change orders available for additional work. Required pricing includes contractor supervision and site crews, travel and per diem, equipment mobilization, rental equipment, and dozers, excavators, and backhoes with operators. Three regional contracts are planned, and a separate submission is required for each region; no contractor may receive more than one region. The contract award amount is stated as $250,000, while submitted unit prices will establish invoicing rates and actual quantities will be determined by work orders. Bidders must be active on CSP900922 (DAS Index No. MAC110) and in good standing with the relevant divisions and agencies.
