Description
This is a sources-sought market research notice, not a solicitation or request for quote. The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking capable sources to remove and dispose of the existing hospital garment conveyor system and provide a turnkey replacement, including equipment, installation, a dedicated desktop computer, and integrated inventory management software. The system must store and track at least 2,200 garments, operate independently of networks and internet access, fit within specified two-level room dimensions, and include safety controls, testing, commissioning, and on-site training. Respondents are asked to submit a capability statement of no more than five pages describing their ability to provide the system and relevant experience, along with company and business-size information, socioeconomic status, and available contract vehicles. The scope also includes manuals and documentation, preventive maintenance information and training, a minimum one-year warranty, and software and service support during the warranty period. Responses are for market research only and will not result directly in an award.
