Description
The United Nations Development Programme Sri Lanka is soliciting a quotation for construction of one fifty-cow-capacity cattle shed at Rosita Farm Sales Center, NLDB, Kotagala, Sri Lanka. The scope includes site preparation and earthwork; concrete foundations, floors, feed alleys, drains, cubicle areas, and guard rails; steel reinforcement and formwork; galvanized steel roof trusses, purlins, insulation, zinc-aluminium roofing, gutters, and downpipes; painting; plumbing; electrical installations; gates, livestock rails, rubber flooring, clamps, and stainless-steel water tanks. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, supervision, technical personnel, shop drawings, method statements, work programs, testing, commissioning, site safety, environmental and social safeguards, and waste management. The work must be completed within four months after contract signature, with a minimum twelve-month defects-liability period and twelve months of local technical support. Bidders must demonstrate relevant cattle-shed or livestock-infrastructure experience, at least five years in business, and CIDA registration or equivalent at C7 or above. The award is expected to be made to the lowest-priced substantially compliant offer, and partial bids are not permitted.
