Description
The Rowan University/Rutgers-Camden Board of Governors is soliciting proposals for economic development consulting services. The selected independent contractor will support existing and future economic development and real estate projects, including marketing and promoting a health-focused business and investment corridor; identifying, developing, and fostering projects; leveraging New Jersey economic development, public finance, private financing, and incentive programs; identifying development partners; facilitating public-private partnerships and joint ventures; coordinating with government agencies, nongovernmental organizations, private developers, neighborhood groups, and community stakeholders; and advising on project development, construction, and management. The consultant must also schedule weekly status meetings and attend meetings as requested. Proposals must include an introductory letter; vendor credentials, qualifications, and relevant experience; an executive summary; the vendor's economic development approach and methodology; a price and compensation proposal; three references from comparable past clients; and completed vendor forms. Required certifications and disclosures include a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate, ownership disclosure where applicable, disclosure of investment activities in Iran, debarment and suspension certification, equal employment opportunity/affirmative action evidence, the MacBride Principles Form, and IRS Form W-9. The initial contract term is 12 months, with up to two additional 12-month extensions at the Board's discretion.
