Description
Correctional Service of Canada requires a contractor to design, develop, and deliver a three-day bilingual training program for more than 2,000 parole officers nationally. The program will include approximately one day of asynchronous online learning with prerecorded instructional videos, quizzes, and assessments, followed by two days of virtual instructor-led training. The contractor must provide up to ten two-day sessions—eight in English and two in French—for cohorts of approximately 200 participants, delivered through approved virtual learning platforms by March 31, 2027. Training must address cybercrime and online offending, including child sexual abuse material, online sexual exploitation and luring, dark web activity, digital investigations, emerging technology-related risks, offender risk assessment, community supervision, and intervention strategies. The contractor must provide presentation materials and instructor notes, adapt content to the correctional context, meet extensive experience and subject-matter requirements, and provide at least one bilingual instructor. The proposed contract is estimated at $52,000 plus GST/HST and is intended for a pre-identified supplier under an Advance Contract Award Notice; other qualified suppliers may submit statements of capabilities by the closing deadline.
