Description
The Nebraska Department of Education’s Office of Vocational Rehabilitation seeks a contractor to strengthen statewide supported employment services through training, technical assistance, consultation, and professional development. The work includes assessing needs; developing and delivering training and practical resources; advising staff and contracted providers; and evaluating activities and recommending improvements. Services must address supported, customized, and self-employment practices for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, serious mental illness or other mental health needs, acquired brain injury, and autism. At least one in-person training must be offered; other services may be delivered virtually, in person, or in a hybrid format as appropriate. The contractor will coordinate regularly with Nebraska VR, develop a work plan and training schedule, track participation and outcomes, and provide project reports and deliverables. The response must include a corporate overview, technical response, completed cost sheet, and signed Contractual Agreement Form. The contract has a one-year initial term, with up to three additional one-year renewals by mutual written agreement.
