Description

The Atlantic County Utilities Authority is soliciting a complete turnkey solution for a remotely monitored fire detection and suppression system serving the approximately 27,000-square-foot tipping floor and designated loading and unloading areas at its recycling transfer station. The scope includes site survey and hazard assessment; engineering and design; thermal, flame, smoke, and visible-video detection; analytics; controls and communications; at least 1,000 gallons of onboard water or approved suppression-agent storage; remotely controlled discharge equipment; installation; permits; testing; commissioning; training; documentation; and warranty support. The system must provide 24/7 monitoring by a listed or approved central station, live video verification, emergency notification, remote operator-controlled suppression, event reporting, cybersecurity controls, standby power and communications, and ongoing full-service maintenance. Bidders must document at least three comparable industrial installations completed within the past five years and use an approved New Jersey-licensed fire-protection installer. The bid includes a lump-sum complete-system line item and a 12-month remote-monitoring, maintenance, and support line item. Final completion is required within 182 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, and the contract requires a two-year minimum warranty from final acceptance plus component warranties for the life of the contract.
