Description
Lee County Public Utilities intends to procure Purolite SSTC60 and A860 IX cation and anion ion exchange resins for use at the Green Meadows Water Treatment Plant. The resins remove iron and organics from raw water and support softening and demineralization. The procurement also includes supporting annual resin analysis reports used to monitor resin condition and determine when replacement is necessary. The County identifies Purolite LLC as the sole manufacturer of the proprietary resins and intends to use a single-source procurement method. Responses are accepted from vendors able to provide the specified resins and supporting analyses; the posting states that it is not a bid.
