Description
This tender seeks a contractor for the detailed design, supply, and installation of a new pedestrian bridge at Kikomun Creek Provincial Park. The scope of work includes the construction of two cast-in-place concrete abutments with screw piles, and the design, supply, and installation of an 18.0 m clear-span, prefabricated aluminum bridge. The project also involves the removal and disposal of the existing wooden bridge. Access to the work site will primarily be via helicopter, with major material and equipment transport also conducted by helicopter. Personnel and smaller equipment can use an existing 1.0 m access trail, which will be reclaimed upon completion. Bidders must adhere to all drawings and specifications, and shop drawings must be prepared, sealed, and signed by a Structural Engineer registered with EGBC and submitted to ISL Engineering for review and approval prior to fabrication.
