Description
The Wyoming Department of Enterprise Technology Services is seeking stand-alone bids for wide-area network services connecting educational circuit locations to district hub sites or a Wyoming Unified Network core in a spoke-and-hub configuration. Services must support Ethernet and be delivered as IP Layer 3 or Ethernet Layer 2 over 802.1Q VLANs, including tagged and untagged frames, frame sizes up to 1,522 bytes without fragmentation, at least 10,000 unique MAC addresses per A-end location, and intrastate service under the FCC 10% rule. Bidders must provide complete pricing for capacities of 10 Mbps, 50 Mbps, 100 Mbps, 500 Mbps, 1 Gbps, 10 Gbps, 25 Gbps, and 40 Gbps, with compatible handoffs including specified 100BASE-TX through 100GBASE-LR4 Ethernet standards. The agency may renew existing circuits, procure new circuits, or decline to proceed depending on the responses and its needs. The solicitation also states that additional services may be treated as minor contract modifications within the scope of the original procurement.
