Description
Calaveras County is soliciting bids for construction of lighting improvements at Murphys Community Park. The base work includes demolition of existing lighting panels and subpanels; installation of new lighting panels, GFCI receptacles, pullboxes, conduits and wiring, light-pole foundations, and LED fixtures; and related labor, materials, tools, equipment, and appurtenant work. An additive alternative covers Main Street lighting improvements, including removal of existing light poles, installation of new poles and fixtures, and protective bollards. Addendum 01 permits specified alternate LED luminaires and extends the bid deadline; Addendum 02 requires the contractor to possess either a Class C-10 electrical contractor license or a Class A general engineering contractor license with qualifying Class C licenses. The project must comply with the plans, Caltrans Standard Specifications, special provisions, and other stated public-works requirements.
