Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking a quotation for four each of wire rope, NSN 4010-01-732-4216, part number 0953SA071-1, manufactured by L.B.I., Inc. The requirement is identified as a critical application item and includes origin inspection and acceptance, higher-level contract quality requirements, physical identification and bare-item marking, and packaging in accordance with ASTM D3951, DLA requirements, and MIL-STD-129. The quotation must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System. The item is to be delivered FOB origin to the DLA Distribution San Joaquin receiving warehouse in Tracy, California, with a required delivery date of June 5, 2027. The solicitation is not a small-business set-aside and states that the manufacturer’s inspection system must comply at minimum with SAE AS9003 or ISO 9001 tailored to SAE AS9003 requirements.
