Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting a quotation for 14 reels of corrosion-resistant steel wire rope, NSN 4010-00-899-4639, part number M83420/2-007. Each reel is 500 feet of 3/16-inch-diameter rope manufactured in accordance with MIL-DTL-83420R, Revision R, dated January 7, 2022. The item is subject to QPL-83420-QPD requirements, and offerors must provide components only from sources qualified on the applicable qualified products list or qualified manufacturers list. The supply must be delivered FOB origin, with origin inspection and acceptance, within 171 days after order. Packaging must comply with MIL-STD-2073-1E, marking with MIL-STD-129, and applicable DLA packaging requirements. Quotes must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System by the stated return date; this is not a small-business set-aside.
