Description
The National Research Council of Canada is soliciting comprehensive janitorial services for multiple research, laboratory, office, industrial, animal-facility, cleanroom, and support buildings. The scope includes routine, scheduled, on-demand, and emergency cleaning; floor and carpet care; washroom servicing; interior glass cleaning; specialized cleanroom and animal-facility cleaning; limited relamping and lamp collection; consumable replenishment; and waste, recycling, and compost collection and transportation. The contractor must provide all required labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, products, supplies, vehicles, reporting, and management. The solicitation requires dedicated and supervisory personnel, cleanroom experience and training, bilingual English/French capability, security screening and site-access compliance, green-cleaning products, quality-assurance and reporting programs, and an Indigenous Participation Plan. Offers are evaluated using a highest combined technical-merit and price method. A mandatory site visit requires attendance at all listed locations, and offer financial security must be provided as either a security deposit equal to 10% of the total bid amount, capped at $2,000,000, or an acceptable offer bond.
