Description
The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is soliciting bids for a general construction contract to provide all labor, materials, and equipment needed to expand the beach parking lot, expand the large pavilion parking lot, and construct a trailer dump station at Gilbert Lake State Park. The engineer's estimate is $3,431,264 to $4,642,298. The bid must include scanned bid security of $201,850 in the form of a certified check, bank check, or approved bid bond. Bidders must also submit a digital contractor registration certificate, a signed Gender-Based Violence and the Workplace Certification or qualifying explanatory statement, the official bid form, and the required New York State business-use form. The contract requires MWBE participation goals of 10% MBE and 20% WBE, plus a 6% SDVOB goal. The project completion period is 520 days after approval by the New York State Comptroller. The successful bidder must furnish 100% performance and labor-and-material/payment bonds and required insurance after award.
