Description
UNDP South Africa is seeking a professional-services firm to assess existing fintech, merchant, payment, data, analytics, and lending capabilities and develop the DIME-SCALE Business Intelligence Infrastructure Platform. The scope includes a business-facing transaction and management layer for spaza retailers; a secure, cloud-based enterprise data platform; a portable, consent-governed Business Passport; repayment-capacity, capital-needs, finance-readiness, and instrument-matching methodologies; secure APIs; and governance, privacy, access-control, authentication, and cybersecurity architecture. The assignment also requires responsive user interfaces, wireframes, prototypes, usability testing, stakeholder co-design, and deployment of a minimum viable platform with five user views for business owners, financiers, facilities and funds, government, and wholesalers. Deliverables include inception and design reports, requirements and market-failure analysis, platform architecture and governance design, methodology reports, a prototype, a final MVP and pilot deployment report, and operating-model, training, knowledge-transfer, and final project documentation. The contract is for six months, expected to begin on November 2, 2026, and is home-based with periodic travel within South Africa.
