Description
Wichita Falls Independent School District is soliciting proposals for two new 2026 or 2027 full-sized cargo vans. Required specifications include a diesel motor, long wheelbase, high roof, power windows and door locks, key fob, air conditioning, and heat. The preferred model is a Ram ProMaster 3500 Tradesman Cargo Van with a high roof and 159-inch wheelbase, or an equivalent vehicle meeting or exceeding the specifications. A public question-and-answer response states that cargo vans only are acceptable and that a 3.6-liter gasoline V6 is acceptable for the ProMaster equivalent. The proposal must include all costs associated with providing and delivering the vehicles, including freight, transportation, delivery, and related charges. Vendors must identify whether the vehicles are stock or special order and provide an estimated lead time after receipt of the purchase order. The District may award to one or multiple vendors, and the contract is complete upon delivery and payment of the goods, subject to any applicable warranty period.
