Description
Jacksonville State University is soliciting an amusement vendor for its Homecoming Carnival on November 5, 2026. The scope includes one full-size Ferris wheel for college-age participants; two to three traditional carnival trailer-style games with attendants; and two to three additional amusement rides for participants age 18 and older. The vendor must provide trained operators, required safety certifications, dedicated generators, setup, takedown, cleanup, and restoration of the event area. The vendor must comply with applicable carnival safety, inspection, permitting, licensing, emergency-procedure, first-aid, crowd-control, and campus-coordination requirements. Required bid materials include the completed State of Alabama Disclosure Statement, E-Verify documentation, three references, specified insurance certificates, an Alabama business license or proof of qualification, and the listed Alabama compliance certificates. Insurance requirements include commercial general liability, umbrella or excess liability, workers' compensation, automobile liability, property coverage, and special-event insurance, with the university named as an additional insured on applicable liability policies.
