Description
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission is seeking competitive bids for as-needed maintenance, repair, and installation of approximately 60 full-electric hospital beds at San Antonio State Supported Living Center. The scope includes inspection, calibration, testing, cleaning, lubrication, electrical safety checks, component replacement, and related repairs for beds from manufacturers including Hill-Rom, Getinge, Invacare, Medline, and Gendron. Contractors must provide OEM replacement parts when possible or equivalent parts, along with all labor, tools, transportation, equipment, materials, and supplies. Services generally must be performed Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time, with responses to routine service calls within four hours and on-site emergency response within one hour of notification. Bidders must demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience, provide three verifiable similar-service references from the past five years, and submit required affirmations, pricing, qualifications, and reference materials. The initial contract term is stated as September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2027, with no renewals, although HHSC may extend the contract for up to one year for continuity or transition purposes.
