Description
Kewanee School District 229 is soliciting proposals for Category One internet access and data transmission services, along with Category One network equipment and installation/initial configuration, for nine eligible district entities. Requested bandwidth ranges from 50 Mbps to 2 Gbps, with service levels varying by site from approximately 50–100 Mbps through 1–2 Gbps. The listed locations include the district administration building, schools, and maintenance building in Kewanee, Illinois. Proposals must identify the provider's SPIN and contact information, distinguish eligible from ineligible products and services and associated costs, identify the proposed connectivity medium, itemize applicable taxes and fees, include shipping charges where applicable, and provide a scope of work for installation services. One-year and multiple-year contracts with voluntary extensions may be considered, and the requested service start date is July 1, 2027. The district will consider equivalent brands and gives preference to providers offering service-provider invoice discounts.
