Description
The National Shipbuilding Research Program (NSRP) Executive Control Board is issuing Research Announcement 27 (RA27) to solicit proposals for research, development, and implementation of relevant technologies or improved processes for the U.S. shipbuilding and ship repair enterprise. The goal is to promote the strategic objectives of the NSRP mission, which is to employ a collaborative framework to research, develop, mature, and implement industry-relevant shipbuilding and sustainment technologies and processes, improving efficiency and throughput across the U.S. shipyard industrial base to meet demand. All proposal submission deadlines and instructions can be found in the RA and Proposal Preparation Kit (PPK), which will be posted on the NSRP website (www.nsrp.org). Potential offerors are reminded that strong business cases supported by project metrics are required. Readers are strongly urged to review further details provided in the announcement and the PPK.
