Description
The City of Revelstoke is soliciting proposals for comprehensive janitorial services at the approximately 56,979-square-foot Revelstoke Community and Aquatic Centre. The contractor must provide all labor, cleaning equipment, supplies, non-slip waxes, linens, and microfiber cloths, and perform cleaning seven days per week throughout public and non-public areas, including entrances, lobbies, corridors, offices, meeting rooms, kitchens, washrooms, fitness and preschool areas, aquatic-centre spaces, storage rooms, and laundry facilities. The scope includes daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual cleaning tasks; carpet and upholstery steam cleaning; floor scrubbing, burnishing, waxing, and stripping; window cleaning; kitchen and event cleanup; recycling and garbage removal; snow and ice removal at entrances during shifts; facility securing and locking; equipment and furniture organization; maintenance reporting; and on-call setup and takedown support. Proposals must include the completed Submission Form, pricing, experience and qualifications, a work plan with duty checklists, and the requested supporting information, including material safety data sheets and staff training or certification evidence. The agreement is expected to run for three years beginning January 1, 2027, with a City option to extend for up to two additional years.
