Description
The Ohio Department of Aging's Quality Initiatives Division is seeking a supplier to create and facilitate a three-course emergency preparedness curriculum for nursing homes through the EXCEL Academy. The training must address preparation for, response to, and recovery from emergencies including natural disasters, fires, utility outages, hazardous chemical emergencies, and state-level emergency declarations. The supplier will co-facilitate weekly live webinar modules with Department of Aging staff and participate in weekly learning-community sessions. Course content must include didactic instruction, small-group scenario-based activities, and learning-community discussion questions; the agency will provide the instructional design. The solicitation is an MBE set-aside, and the anticipated total budget is less than $15,000, with additional costs for optional services potentially considered.
