Description
The City of West Kelowna is soliciting quotations for replacement of its production server infrastructure, including compute, storage, hypervisor licensing, network switching, installation and commissioning, and five years of manufacturer support. The City is not prescribing a hardware configuration; proponents may propose solutions based on either Microsoft Azure Local or VMware, which will be evaluated against the same criteria. Migration of the City's existing virtual machine estate and physical decommissioning of the existing cluster must be priced as separately identified options. The quotation with the lowest price that satisfies the mandatory criteria, terms and conditions, and technical specifications will be awarded the contract. The goods and services are to be delivered in British Columbia, including the Central Okanagan region.
