Description
The United Nations Development Programme is soliciting bids for the complete supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and rehabilitation of Tugboat Danum 61. The scope includes major engine and gearbox overhauls, auxiliary machinery, structural and hull repairs, piping, navigation and electrical systems, fire and environmental equipment, life-saving appliances, coatings, underwater hull work, documentation, training, sea trials, and related marine engineering services. Goods and services must be separately priced without duplication, and the contractor must complete the work within 120 calendar days from the commencement date. Bidders must demonstrate relevant marine engineering and vessel-repair experience, including at least two comparable completed contracts within the last five years with a cumulative value of at least $400,000 and one contract valued at $200,000 or more. The bid requires a mandatory on-site inspection, a bid security of $10,000, a 10% performance security after award, a detailed technical proposal and implementation schedule, supporting qualifications and financial documentation, and a minimum 12-month warranty. Bids must be submitted through the supplier portal in PDF format, with the completed price schedule submitted as both a signed PDF and an original Excel file; the original bid security must also be physically delivered as instructed.
