Description
Galesburg Public Library is seeking bids or proposals for Category One Internet access and data transmission services with capacity between 1 Gbps and 2 Gbps. The solicitation also includes any Category One network equipment necessary to make the Internet connection functional, with installation and initial configuration identified for both service requests. Proposals must identify the provider’s SPIN, maintain a current Service Provider Annual Certification, distinguish eligible and ineligible products and services and their associated costs, identify the proposed transmission medium, itemize applicable recurring taxes and fees, and include shipping charges where applicable. A scope of work is required for any installation services. One-year and multiple-year contracts with voluntary extensions may be considered, and the requested service start date is July 1, 2027. The applicant will consider equivalent brands, may purchase quantities other than those listed, and gives preference to providers offering service provider invoice discounts.
