Description
Washington County is seeking quotations for three liquid aircraft deicing products: propylene glycol Type IV aircraft anti-icing fluid meeting SAE AMS 1428 standards, potassium acetate RF-11 meeting SAE AMS 1435 standards, and propylene glycol 55/45 Type I aircraft deicing fluid meeting SAE AMS 1424 standards. The products must meet specified temperature, concentration, appearance, and refractometer requirements, with deliveries made in 230-gallon totes or by full transport load as applicable. Estimated annual usage is 700 gallons for each propylene glycol product and 6,000 gallons of potassium acetate. Quotations must include product specification and safety data sheets, and deliveries are required within seven to ten business days after order placement. The contract is for one year, tentatively commencing November 1, 2026, with one optional additional one-year renewal period. Purchase orders will serve as the contracts, and the County guarantees neither a minimum nor a maximum quantity. No bonds are required. Insurance evidence is required before contract execution or issuance of purchase orders, including workers’ compensation, $1,000,000 comprehensive general liability, and $1,000,000 business automobile liability coverage.
