Description
The City of Effingham is soliciting sealed proposals for reconstruction of Evergreen Avenue from approximately 150 feet west of the Sherwood Park intersection to approximately 200 feet east of the Oceola Street intersection. The work includes pavement reconstruction and other related miscellaneous reconstruction activities. Bids must be submitted on the municipality-furnished proposal form in a separately sealed envelope. A bid bond, cashier’s check, bank draft, or certified check equal to at least 5% of the bid amount is required, along with a surety bond for the full award amount. The project is subject to Illinois prevailing-wage requirements and the Illinois Substance Abuse Prevention on Public Works Project Act.
