Description
The Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) Transportation Department is soliciting bids for Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) in bulk. The contract is a term contract with pricing firm through June 30, 2027, and WCPSS reserves the right to extend the pricing for up to five additional one-year increments. The estimated annual usage is approximately 40,000 gallons, with deliveries expected in bulk quantities of 500-1000 gallons weekly. Awarded bidders must be able to deliver within two business days of contact. The solicitation specifies that the fluid must be API approved/certified, and exact specifications must be provided with the bid. WCPSS reserves the right to award to a single overall bidder or multiple vendors, with evaluation criteria including pricing, quality, experience, and conformity with specifications.
