Description
Floyd County is soliciting bids for one 130-pound-capacity washer-extractor and one 170-pound-capacity gas drying tumbler. Preferred benchmark equipment is UniMac, but other brands may be considered if they meet the stated specifications. The washer-extractor requirements include a 7.5-horsepower, nine-speed inverter drive; 130-pound capacity; 440–480 volts, 60 Hz, three-phase power; high-speed extraction; programmable controls; chemical connections; manuals; and specified warranties. The tumbler must have a 170-pound reversing cylinder, instant spark ignition, programmable controls, automatic over-drying protection, manuals, and specified warranties. The scope includes delivery, receiving, rigging, leveling, applicable bolting and grouting, utility connections within five feet of each machine, removal of existing equipment, startup, testing, operator training, and connection of specified exhaust, gas, electrical, steam, compressed-air, water, and drain utilities. Bidders must submit pricing, proposed make and model, compliance information, exceptions, and any optional pricing through the designated procurement portal.
