Description
Red Bay Water and Gas is seeking Statements of Qualifications from licensed professional engineering firms eligible to work in Alabama to establish a pool of pre-approved providers for three years from the advertisement date. Selected firms may be called upon as needed to support grant applications and potential grant-funded projects; no work is guaranteed, and fees will be determined project by project. Potential funding sources include Alabama/HUD CDBG, the Appalachian Regional Commission, the Economic Development Administration, and FEMA grant programs. Submissions are evaluated on grant-program knowledge, key personnel experience and availability, proximity to the project area, understanding of the community, and prior work with the locality. Applicants must provide three copies of a Statement of Qualifications addressing these factors and demonstrate professional engineering licensure. Firms may be asked to make an oral presentation in the event of a tie. The solicitation reserves the right to award any number of contracts or none.
