Description
The United Nations Development Programme is seeking two national consultants to develop or adapt training programmes and materials based on the latest World Health Organization recommendations for drug-sensitive and drug-resistant tuberculosis. One consultant will deliver the assignment in Russian and the other in Turkmen. Each consultant will provide 31 working days of services, including preparation of two training modules, co-delivery of six training sessions, and preparation of training reports containing pre- and post-training assessments, training reports, and signed participant lists. The sessions will train approximately 90 tuberculosis physicians in total on regimen selection, drug-susceptibility testing, treatment monitoring, adverse-event management, and care of special patient groups. Candidates must have an advanced university degree in medicine, postgraduate tuberculosis specialization, relevant training certificates, and at least seven years of tuberculosis teaching experience.
