Description
The City of Los Angeles is soliciting bids from five specifically identified contractors on its Emergency Pre-Qualified On-Call Geotechnical/Structural Contract Services list. The project will construct an 85-foot-long, 5-foot-high pipe-and-board retaining structure to restore lateral support to a sidewalk on Benner Street in the Highland Park area. Work also includes removing and replacing the existing handrail and portions of the sidewalk, curb, and gutter within the public right of way. The City Engineer's estimate is $309,890. A bid bond is not required, but the successful bidder must provide payment and performance bonds, each for at least 100 percent of the task bid price.
