Description
Merced County seeks new, current-production vehicles in specified Ford F-150 XL Crew Cab 4WD configurations: six with a 5.0L V8 engine and one with a 3.0L V6 engine. The specifications include required cab, wheelbase, color, equipment group, wheels, and spare tire details; the six-truck configuration also requires a tow hitch with 7-pin connector, running boards, amber warning lights, and a trailer brake controller. Vehicles must include standard equipment, and required optional equipment must be installed before delivery. Bidders must identify any dealer-installed equipment and provide an itemized exception page for each vehicle bid. The vehicles must be new and unused, and will be inspected upon delivery for compliance with the specifications. A vehicle specification sheet for each vehicle bid must be uploaded. The bid pricing must be entered in the electronic solicitation system; a separate detailed quotation may be uploaded but does not replace the required bid pricing.
