Description
Miami-Dade County is soliciting a price quotation for milling and resurfacing SW 152nd Avenue from SW 42 Street to SW 8 Street. The work includes asphalt friction-course paving, excavation and embankment, sidewalk and driveway-related concrete work, curb and gutter, detectable warnings and pedestrian accessibility improvements, sod, tree-protection measures, drainage-structure and valve-box adjustments, and maintenance of traffic. The project also includes electrical and traffic-control work, including conduit, electrical service, signal poles and cables, pedestrian signals and detectors, signs, raised pavement markers, durable painted markings, thermoplastic striping, crosswalk markings, and pavement messages. The project is federally funded and subject to Davis-Bacon wage requirements, FHWA-1273 provisions, federal labor and nondiscrimination requirements, and specified contractor qualification, experience, quality-control, insurance, bonding, and self-performance requirements. Bidders must demonstrate at least three similar projects completed or underway within the past five years, with identified personnel, client references, contract values, durations, and supporting closeout or performance documentation for completed projects.
