The Defense Logistics Agency proposes a five-year indefinite-delivery requirements contract for a minimum quantity of seven transmission pumps, NSN 4320-01-115-3823, part number 145DS211-2, applicable to CH-47 Chinook helicopters. Production lead time without first article testing is 420 days after contract award, with delivery to Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. The item is restricted to The Boeing Company, Boeing Distribution Services, Inc., and Parker-Hannifin Corporation, although other firms that can produce the item may identify themselves and seek source approval for future solicitations. The Government states that the necessary technical data rights are unavailable and that reverse engineering would be uneconomical. Offerors must meet prequalification requirements.
