Description
Huntington School District 16J is soliciting proposals for fully managed, leased lit fiber transport supporting wide area network services and unbundled internet access. The service must provide dedicated symmetrical bandwidth beginning at 1 Gbps, scalable from 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps, with service-level commitments including 99.99% network availability, specified packet-loss, latency, jitter, outage-response, and restoration targets. Proposers must provide pricing for three-year and five-year service terms, plus five optional one-year voluntary extensions. The scope may include special construction, design and engineering, permitting, fiber installation, pathway and conduit work, demarcation, testing, restoration, as-built documentation, and ongoing managed service support. Proposals must include a service description, SLA, implementation timeline, demarcation details, logical network diagram, geographic fiber pathway map, sample contract, three recent similar-project references, and the required pricing and certification attachments. The proposal is limited to 50 pages, with attachments excluded from that limit, and must be submitted electronically through the designated portal in PDF, DOCX, and/or XLSX format; the combined proposal and cover sheet may not exceed 50 MB.
